The original five founders came together to start something new and unique to the gaming world.

The original five founders are: EGS

Eagle V, EGS LiliacMermaid V, EGS Sveinbjorn V, Dhatdeal, and DemonicBrute. They all had the same goal in mind, to make a place where everyone could have fun and better themselves as gamers and as leaders. So, on June 11, 2018, Eclipse Gaming Syndicate was born. EGS relaunched on

October 1, 2022.

EGS MISSION STATEMENT

Since the first day of existence, Eclipse Gaming Syndicate and its leaders have strived to provide a fun, safe and structured environment for all to succeed. We organize the community, so that everyone may feel welcomed and have a chance to succeed. We believe that everyone that joins has the potential to be the next leader at EGS. However, our main goal is to provide a place for all to enjoy what we all have in common, video games.

Congratulations on completing your recruitment and training process! We hope you will enjoy your time here at EGS. We have prepared all these important documents for you to learn about what you have committed your time and resources to. Be sure to read the rest of this handbook and all the other important documents found in the server.

A BIT MORE ABOUT EGS

EGS is completely self-funded. We accept donations from members voluntarily, not mandatory for membership. We also generate commission from out awesome sponsors and from our merchandise line. EGS prides itself on being self funded and self sustained.

EGS has tried to strive to be something a little different than other communities. We want you all to have a feel that this is a family, not just a clan or community. We ask that all members respect all EGS members and non members. As we are an example of what EGS represents.

Although we welcome everyone to our community, EGS may not be for some people. They may not like the family atmosphere, that we try to create here at EGS. However, that does not mean we can treat them any differently. We are to respect all members and non members.

RANKING UP IN EGS!

Our ranking system is set in place not to dictate out members, but to organize it in a way that allows for simple transitions and organizational tasks. You can rank up by following the important documents and viewing the ranking structure (egsclan.com/ranking-structure) and see what you need to do to achieve the next rank. Our ranking system allows members to challenge themselves to become something more and become a leader in EGS. This will also help you in the world outside of gaming by giving you confidence to achieve any other goals that you may have.

Although our ranking system is there, you will never be forced to be promoted or take a position.

You will always be asked to accept a promotion. If you accept a promotion, please make sure you have the time to do the tasks assigned to that position. If you agree to a promotion and then do not perform the tasks, you may be asked to step down.
